"Everyone wants to be famous, nobody wants to do the work" -Kevin Hart

Recently I saw Kevin Hart's new movie Laugh at my Pain, while I found it to be very funny, one thing really stuck with me...... the quote, chant, Kevin and his crew stated prior to him going on stage "everyone wants to be famous, nobody wants to do the work."  How TRUE, I find this statement to be, especially in my line of work.  So many times artists, expect success to fall in their lap, especially the younger generation.  The idea of hard work paying off, is unheard of to these so called local celebrities.  They strive for little and expect everything. Meanwhile those faithful fans who believe in them, or secretly wish to be like them, grind harder than the artist, pushing their music, attending their shows, screaming their name, just so they can be seen in the company of their "idols," all the while the artist who think he's a star sits back relishing in his narrow minded success, not looking to pursue anything beyond local stardom, he sits and grins, thinking he's made it to the top.....how wonderfully naive he must be to think he has acheived success.
